Just got sewing machine but no instructions manual idoes anyone know where I could get one please, It's a Janome new home model 690 sewing machine I'm just desperate to get started with it, I haven't used a sewing machine for about 20 yrs, and when my partner bought it for me (it was second hand which I don't mind) I forgot how to thread it up so any help would be appreciated thanks.
If the thread is getting jammed under the FABRIC then it means the TOP thread is threaded wrong. Just the opposite of what we think it should be. If the thread is looping on the TOP of your fabric it's the BOBBIN thread that's not threaded right. If it's a front loading bobbin, the thread should go over the top of the bobbin to the right before placing it in the bobbin case. Hope this helps!
Just today i got out my little janome i bought years ago and it is this model. There was no "manual" with the machine. All that came with it is a large 20X14 two sided print out. I can scan and send this to you with an email address.
