Yes there are drain holes in base of upper unit (on roof), which may be plugged. Couple of questions though to see if we can better troubleshoot this for you. -Do you remember seeing water (condensation) running off roof before when AC was used? -Have you cleaned filter inside at ceiling lately?
Hi,
Sounds like the compressor is toast...if the caps have been changed and there is voltage there, you have done all you can...replace the compressor or buy new...
on the compressor two pipes normaly one must be very cool .and other pipe very hot this means compressor is ok
if not cooling that much means low charge of freon need repair first the leak then recharge with freon.
Need to pull the cover off and see if the compressor is comming on.If not have someone with electical experience check the contacter.Sometimes bugs will get under the contacts durring wenter. If it is running the freon is low
Same problem. I have a 2005 on a Rockwood Roo. Worked fine in October 2009. Not working June 2010. Problem is not a freon leak, compressor went bad. I banged the compressor gently with rubber mallet then with a hammer but that did not work. The fan runs, the compressor runs but gets hot. Also no indication of freon moving through system as everything gets warm from the compressor outward.
