SOURCE: HP LASERJET 4250n PRINTER-PROBLEM WITH PAPER JAMS AND "FUSER ERROR"
Put a maintence kit in your machine, easy install, everything just clicks in, Every 200 000 prints it should be done, it includes the fuser, all feed rollers, sep pad and transfer roller.
These are great printing machine, they only ever need the MK and on this model a fuser drive gear wears and get noisy, but once that has been done once, it is ok from then on.
KIts seem expensive but they are meant to last 200 000 prints and usally do. These are one of the best most reliable printers in the market.

1) First thing is check power source. If you have the printer plugged into a UPS (uninterruptilbe power source) unplug it and plug it directly into the wall. If it is plugged into the wall you might want to try a different outlet to see if it solves the problem.
2) Remove and reinstall the fuser. It may not have seated properly.
#) Make sure you installed the correct fuser. Should be RM1-1082. There should be a sticker on the fuser with this number. See the following article for more info. http://www.partsnow.com/service_today/0705.asp
If you still have the old fuser check also that it is a RM1-1082. If not you may have a euro version machine which would require a different fuser.
If the fusers match up you should check the voltage coming to the fuser if possible. If there is 100- 127 volts where the fuser plugs in you probably got a bad fuser or it was damaged in transit. If there is low voltage or no voltage you may have a board problem. Probably DC controller or Power Supply.
SOURCE: FUSER ERROR
I just reviewed both of the above fuser issues (50.2 & 50.3). Both are highly likely (even if recently replaced) fuser damaged. I have included below a link to a free HP service manual for your machines. Start on page 309 using a volt/ohms meter to test the fuser. To address the "Guest" inquiry regarding the HVPS, there is a separate HVPS however please be aware that it is not part of the fusing circuit in this machine. If anything it would be the LVPS (Low Voltage Power Supply) however very remote. Odds are maybe 1 in 200 on your best day. I'd put 10 fusers in the machine before I bought 1 LVPS. This machine is known to eat fusers. The HVPS and LVPS at this time are just about bulletproof. PLEASE TRY TESTING THE FUSER AGAIN USING THE MANUAL PAGE 309 TO 311. If your really want the power supplies though, they are on the part number list at the end of the manual. I just looked it up and we have repaired 74 of machines to date with not one PS ever used. 59 of the 74 have been for fuser issues.
Here's the manual link:

Hope that helps you both. :)

Try unplugging the printer for 30 mins. You may still have a defective fuser.

Replace the fuser unit with new one or you can check the usage and lifespan if it has enlapse.
