My Sharp television LC-45D4CU has no external speakers. I plug in my audio out and no sound on my sound bar. Sound still on TV.

If your Sharp LC-45D4CU television is not producing sound when you connect an external speaker or sound bar to the audio out jack, there are a few potential causes and steps you can try to fix the issue:
  1. Check the audio out jack: Make sure the audio out jack is clean and not damaged, and that the connection to the external speaker or sound bar is secure.
  2. Check the audio settings: Make sure the TV's audio settings are set to output sound through the audio out jack. You can check the settings in the TV's menu or user manual.
  3. Check the external speaker or sound bar: Make sure the external speaker or sound bar is turned on and set to the correct input. Also, check the speaker or sound bar's connections and make sure they are secure.
  4. Check the cables: Make sure the cables connecting the TV to the external speaker or sound bar are not damaged and are securely connected.
If these steps do not fix the issue, there may be a problem with the TV's audio out jack or the external speaker or sound bar. In this case, it is recommended to contact Sharp customer support or a TV repair technician for further assistance.

My sony KDL "46vl160" sound is out of sync

1. Check your TV's audio settings:

If you're experiencing audio issues with your Sony TV, the first thing you should do is check the audio settings. Make sure that the TV is set to output audio to the correct source.

For example, if you're using an HDMI cable to connect to a sound bar, make sure that the TV is set to output audio to the sound bar. If you're using a receiver, make sure that the TV is set to output audio to the receiver.

2. Try a different HDMI cable:

If you're using an HDMI cable to connect your TV to a sound bar or receiver, try using a different HDMI cable. Sometimes, the cable can be the issue.

3. Check your sound bar's audio settings:

If you're using a sound bar, make sure that the sound bar is set to the correct audio input. For example, if you're using an HDMI cable to connect the TV to the sound bar, make sure that the sound bar is set to the HDMI input.

4. Check your receiver's audio settings:

If you're using a receiver, make sure that the receiver is set to the correct audio input. For example, if you're using an HDMI cable to connect the TV to the receiver, make sure that the receiver is set to the HDMI input.

5. Try a different audio input:

If you're using an HDMI cable to connect your TV to a sound bar or receiver, try using a different audio input. For example, if you're using an HDMI cable to connect the TV to the sound bar, try connecting the TV to the receiver using an optical cable. 6. Restart your TV: If you're still experiencing audio issues, try restarting your TV. Sometimes, this can fix the issue.

Best sound bar for 70 inch sharp aquos smart tv

Use a sound bar or a set of amplified computer speakers like Altec Lansing or Klipsch systems. They will always sound better than the TV internal speakers. You plug them in the headphone or audio out on the back of the TV.

Panasonic tv Yamaha sound bar but when sound bar is on the voices are echo sounding

Check your manual. You should have different settings for different applications. The echo may be set for music listening rather than TV listening.

Wont retain audio settings

Try just using the optical cable alone. connecting the HDMI and the optical cables at the same time might be confusing the TV.

Upgraded older HD TV to a Sharp 70" smart TV & Home Theater Receiver (Yamaha RX-V575. Have AT&T U-verse HD Cable box. What is the connection sequence using HDMI cables. Searched Yamaha and AT&T sites and...

I dont know about your particular hd hookup , but I take the hdmi cable out of my dish reciever/dvr [digital video recorder] and run it straight to the hdmi input #2 in the back of my apex 40 in lcd-hd-tv

I think take the hdmi output from the at&t u-verse cable box and plug it into the hdmi input of your 70 in sharp smart tv

that will get the input signal from your cable box ,both video & audio, into your tv set.
on the back of your tv set
there should be audio outputs for home theater audio systems that would plug into the audio inputs of the home theater system.

prehaps i am wrong because you say that your yamaha is a home theater* reciever.* is the yahama more than a home theater audio system? What does it recieve?

Idea-- the salesman that you bought it from should be willing to help tell you how to hook it up.

also consider that there are many different ways to hook up vcr's and then dv recorders and dvd recorders and external 2 tera bite hard drives into my tv & dvr . I got that all hooked in & a rats nest of wires. so i can record in hd or sd,on vhs or dvd or dvr
point is that you cant hurt anything by plugging the wrong plug into the wrong jack, as long as the same type of plug goes into the same type of jack.
If its right,it works, if its wrong, it wont work until you plug it into the proper jack.

im sorry ,im 65 am not into knowing all the latest and greatest cutting edge tech ,but i am begining to catch up on my hobby, movie recording tech.

LG blue ray won't play sound from RCA sound bar. HDMI cable is hooked into HDMi slot on TV

the details you provided were very vague, however from my experience when a device is connected to another device via and audio capable hdmi cable, that device renders it audio output to the device its connected to and normally turn off all other audio outputs beside optical- I would assume there is an option in the blue ray player to turn off hdmi audio, which will in turn activate other audio outputs- you may also look for audio out port on your tv, it is ideal to connect the sound bar directly to the tv set audio out ports. To sum this up,
if you plan to use your player via hdmi cable you need to turn off hdmi audio output on the blue ray player and the plug an audio cable from your blue-ray player to your sound bar
you may also as i said connect your sound bar directly to your tv, the issue is most tv sets now a days do not have an audio out port, if you do then everything you play thru your tv will have audio via sound bar
there are several way to go here but unless your sound bar has hdmi av switching capabilities (im sure not) this is one of the most simple--Good Luck.

Mitsubishi 55" Rear Projection - No sound and volume bar continuosly displayed

First unplug the a/v receiver and then check tv to see if the audio output is on or internal speakers. With the a/v rec. you should have chosen the variable audio and not leave on int speakers. If this does not work unplug set for at least an hour and try again. You can get additional info from www.ctechnicians.com
