I took some very important photos at my best friends wedding on the weekend and i just tried to put them on the computer and the camera screen said "card not initialized" the pohotos were there yesterday. please help, i cant loose these photos took photos of wedding downloaded fine took more at evening now cant download or i cant find them if they have done this auto when put sd card in no prompt window for importing

Unless you want to colorize them by hand, there's no way to add color to black and white photos. Given a black and white photo showing a person in a gray dress, how do you know whether the dress was blue or red or some other color?

how are you actually downloading to PC - if you are putting the card into the PC and copying that way - make sure you have all the sub directories selected - cameras do create multiple sub-directories

Did your friend use the "safely remove hardware" function when removing your card from her computer? That could corrupt your card if she didn't. Try this...take your card to a store like Walmart that has a Kodak picture kiosk. They can usually read everything on a card. There, you can print the pics or even make a cd of them. Afterwards, format your card in your camera.

This is common when you use a memory card that isn't recommended by casio. They only recommend using sandisk, toshiba, panasonic memory cards. Try one of those and you should have no problems.
