I HAVE A dvd player model DVDR06/MU1 AND HAVE MISPLACED THE POWER CORD. cAN IT BE REPLACED?

Hi. you can go to any radio shack and purchase a replacement cord for this unit or, you can order it on line at The parts store(www.partstore.com).

They are available on eBay for quite cheap, I just did a quick search and they can be had for under $10 including shipping. Depends on the exact model number of your unit, there wasn't a huge selection.

Depends on your specific problems. I have had one of each models MU1, MU2 and ZU. Each one is different. See label on bottom. The best one is MU1 MU2 seemed to get a blur or moving effect upon playback. Zu is better for taping live tv. I love my MU1.I had a Lite on DVD recorder that didn't last long at all. I use ONlY SONY discs or Rewriteables and do fairly well. I am trying to find a non existent universal remote for it. Why didnt' they put more buttons on the front??? Useless without a remote. If its broke, its broken. I heard the company is no longer operating so forget it.
