My Samsung NP350V5C-S01CA laptop will continuously shutting down unexpectedly. My inner screen broke not to long ago and then a week after that happened, the battery died (it doesn't recharge anymore). Since the battery issue started, my laptop has been shutting off unexpectedly. I have since replaced the screen and am waiting on a new battery, but I don't understand why it's shutting down at weird times, even with the AC adapter in. Help?!!
If AC adapter is connected and the system gets shutdown automatically it is for sure that this problem is not for battery. You can try going to properties of My computer - Advance system setting - startup and recovery settings - automatically restart

it might be the battery, try plugging it in while doing that.

I want to try a very simple thing, cause it happened to me, while I am working on my computer , it shut down unexpectedly... cause the processor is working with its full performance and no enough cooling around the laptop. so while I move to other place and also I raise the laptop a little bit from the back to let the fans (bottom of the laptop) works perfectly .
try to open it again and do so.... may be it is a so simple thing that was far from your mind like I was before... good luck

you need do check:
1) no charging means adapter input problem, first check your adapter DC output voltage is ok
2) check DC jack socket on the motherboard:
--- DC socket any pin disconnected, you need use iron and flux to fix it
--- DC socket damage(broken),you have to change it
3) if DC socket connection normall, the DC/DC circiute near around DC socket some component damage, you need find a technacian to repair.

try running ur laptop using the adaptor without the battery in it's place and run it with just the battery...note the difference....it may be a power surge/short issue....some times the battery is supplying power along with the adaptor to the notebook and the power circuit in there is not able to take dual power....check your power options setting in Control Panel...
