SHARP AR 5020 error F5-02

It is copy lamp error.
1- check the copy lamp on with sim.
2- replace the power unit.
3- replace the inverter.
4- replace the mcu pwb.

copy lamp lighting abnormally. Change copy lamp

F5-02 = Copy Lamp Lighting Abnormality.

Possibilities are blown copy lamp, failure of lamp harness (cable) or the MCU board.
You may need to replace either the copy lamp unit or the MCU board.

To check the operation of the lamp..

Enter service mode 5-03
#, [interrup],C,[interrupt],5,[copy button],03,[start button].
The lamp should light up for a few seconds.

the error F5 02 means that the copy lamp lighting is abnormal.
This is what is in the service manual:

F5 02 Content Copy lamp lighting abnormality
Details The copy lamp does not light up.
Cause Copy lamp error
Copy lamp harness abnormality
CCD PWB harness abnormality
Check and remedy
Check the copy lamp (SIM 5-3)
When the lamp lights:
Check the harnesses and connectors
between the CCD unit and the MCU PWB.
When the lamp does not light:
Check the harness and connector
between the copy lamp and the MCU PWB.
Replace the copy lamp unit.
Replace the MCU PWB.
Remarks Copy lamp disconnection
Cable is not attached.
You must call a tech to solv your problem.

Sharp Fuser
H2-0 Fusing unit temperature error
H4-0 The fusing unit doesn't heat up.
***ALWAYS DISCONNECT POWER WHEN WORKING ON MACHINE***
You have to reset fuser errors with simulation 14. Push P * C * then 14 then Start (the button you use to make copies) and it should reset the code. If not then replace the fuser.
SM 5-1 should turn the lamp on. If lamp blinks on and off it is the thermistor, if it does not it is the lamp, but check the contacts on the lamp/fuser -- they have been known to erode.
Also check thermal fuse, if defective replace.
