The printer is putting a solid black streak down the center of the back side of each page printed. Any advice?
The problem lies with in the waste ink. The way canon have designed the way for the waste ink to get absorbed in a songe, that lies next to the rollers that help the paper out of the printer.
They lie underneith the metal cover if you open the printer lid you will see it.
What happens the waste ink gets to a place where it builds up and up and up, then comes into the area where the rollers lie and so when the paper is fed out you have a black line down the back of your page.
The only way to stop it is by opening up the printer if you know how to, if you dont, dont try it. Then cleaning the roller and blocking the area where the ink is coming in.
Once all that is done you shouldnt have any problems.

Thank you for the information!
After I have changed all toners and drum the printer only prints the right side of the page. Putting back all the old toners/drum doesn't resolve the problem.
