You need to take the phone to a mobile service center and have them reflash the phone to have it working properly

I'm getting a bootloader usb init screen

Your phone is partly fried. It needs to be re-flashed. You can do it with a USB cable and the proper software....Google "bootloader USB" for some help in finding the software. One thing to try, hold down the "*" and "#" keys while powering up the phone, this could possibly help, but I doubt it.

Good Luck!!!

Bootloader usb init

This means that the phone firmware is corrupt - you can try to reflash it using Motorola software update, but it might not work for a phone stuck in bootloader mode:

Everytime i turn my phone on it has a blue screen with the motarola logo and it says- bootloader usb init

Sounds like your flash went bye-bye. Make sure you are NOT holding down */# on startup as that causes the phone to drop into bootloader. Alteratively, if your phone keeps booting into bootloader by default, try holding them down on startup. Also, try removing the battery, plugging in the charger, and wait for the unable to charge to appear. Insert the battery and let it sit for a few hours which should help.

Bootloader USB INIT

Same thing today. Can't get it to turn on, charge or anything. I was warned not to get this phone by Alltel, that there was major problems with it, they even showed me a memo sent around to all dealers. That due to all the problems with the phone that it would be cheaper to replace/try to repair...then recall. I heard that newer versions of this phone are better, minw has been ok until now...mfg.date 2/07...
