Im strongly recommend you, buy a new original charger otherwise you can damage your headset.
The red light you saw probably because your charger is not compatible.
This is the Charge Coupled Device. Its a part that would need to be replaced by a technician. There is no way to explain to you how to get to it or how you could order this part. Your local canon dealer should be able to help with this problem.
On your Blackberry, navigate to Options,Bluetooth,Hit the cursor, Select Options, Set Discoverable to Yes, and save.
Make sure your Plantronic is in pairing mode.
On the Blackberry, hit the return key, add device, Search, Pllantronic will be listed on the blackberry as found. Select it, and add the password which by default is 0000.
