Cant download from cameria to computer - Largan Chameleon Digital Camera

Hi!

A simple workaround is to remove the memory card from the camera and insert it in an appropiate card reader connected to your computer. It allows also a higher transfer speed, that's why I allways do so.

Have you taken any new pictures with this card? and you can't even see them? if this is the case the card may be bad but the cameria should display meneroy card locked or full or something. If it does'nt they you may need to rerset the camera and it's also possible that the cameria has failed.

Did you download the operating disk or online operating program for your camera? After that the icon for that programs will be in all programs or in a desktop icon. Click on it and open it and then turn the camera on in the reveiw mode. the display on the carera will ask what you would like to do and the click on it on the cameria and away it'll go. If theses alot of stuff on the cameria it might take quite a while for it to download the cameria onto the computer

Check for any errors in device detection in device manager or Check for letest driver for webcamera from the vendor website.

I know this is not the answer you want, but when you dropped the camera you damaged the lens tube (housing) and your camera will require professional repair.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

A dew message on screen usually means there moisture inside the camera, just store the camera in a warm dry space for a few days so that the components can dry out properly and it should be fine.

Some cameras you need to turn on after they are hooked up to the computer for the computer to notice them. Click on my computer then look for something that says removable drive device and double click on it. Windows has a pic viewer. If this does not work, then you need the specific software for your camera that you can download for free from their website.
