Hello,
1. When you press the power button to turn it on, do you see any thing on screen, It probably should show an ACER logo?
2. Can you see a faint image of your desktop (try to see it in dark place with flash light). If you do see a faint image it could mean your back light is broken.
3. When you press the power button do you get different LED's lighting up on the laptop? IE power LED, hard drive LED?
4. Does your computer give you any random beeps when it starts up?
Please answer these questions and I would be more than happy to work through this with your.

I had the same problem with the cursor jumping around. My cousin bought the same computer and had the same problem! What she told me to do was go to the touchpad icon on the bottom right. Then click tapping and then check the box that says "tap off when typing."
It seems to have worked for us.

its either there is a stucked key on your keyboard or you have a bad ram (memory card).
