We have Nortel Networks T3718 phones and CallPilot VM. We have problems with calls being dropped and hearing our voices being echoed on the line. It does it when we receive calls and we make calls. Any help will be appreciated.
The source of your echo is probably acoustic echo. This might happen in case end user's are using phone with bad acoustic echo cancellation. If you can not eliminate these phones you can integrate a commercial solution (e.g. the PBXMate). These solutions integrate with your VoIP network to resolve audio quality issues.
How are your lines coming in to your phone system?
Generally you get an echo on VoIP lines not set up correctly.
T7316 should not give echo, as it is a digital phone.
