You could use it but you may not get accurate readings, best to get a transom transducer of find a way of mounting the one you have inside the hull?

I have no idea, I use these same ones and havve several mounted and they are used both in summer and winter, never had one leak. I also looked up these and did not see where there were any issues with this problem. I suggest you call Humminbird and talk to them, they are usually very helpful.

My unit, a 365i combo, uses the same transducer, I experienced the exact same problem last week, my unit is still under warranty, I sent the unit for repair and just got confirmation that my transducer went bad. The bad news is that the transducer is back order and has been for many weeks, this is an indication of probably a weak design. I have read similar reports on other forums.

Is The transducer In Side the Hull Or Mounted On The Transom?
If Inside Remove It And Re Fit It Using Epoxy Glue Ensuring No Air Pocket Between transducer And Hull.
If transom Mounted Replace Transducer.

I was looking to see if I could find a replacement for the display and was able to confirm that the transducer is a single beam 120khz unit so I doubt that you've find a replacement for it ..as is .

The Airmar C-49 is the proper number for the connection line but like me I think your going to have to think about a whole new unit and or system . Been there already.

You're only asking for problems trying to do it yourself. It' extremely messy, and more involved than simply adding new toner. and the refill kits are a scam. Find a reliable supplier, and get a remanufactured unit with a guarantee, if you're looking to save money. Cartridges are designed to go 1 cycle, and then require a new drum, cleaning blade, doctor blade, bushings, toner, etc. The cartridge includes not only the toner supply unit, but also a waste section, that, even if you were to refill somewhat successfully, the section will begin to overflow, causing further problems. Cut your losses.

The furnace model is irrelevant. The important question is usually the dimensions of the opening for the filters. The most common sizes are 16"x25"x1", 20"x25"x1", 16x25x5, etcetera. There are exceptions such as specialty filters like electronic ones. I suggest using inexpensive pleated filters but you could just use filters that you cut to fit instead. Have a helpful gasfitter assist you if necessary.

I finally got an email reply from Navman. If the unit is less than two years old (mine is not) they will repair it. If it is over two years old, or if you can't prove that it is less than two years old, you can ship it to them and they will repair it for the low, low price of 355 US dollars.

Pretty nice of them since it appears these units are highly problematic isn't it? I am wondering if they guarantee their fix, or just have you on the hook for another 355 dollars later.
