Hi, You can format your mobile phone by pressing *#7780# on your mobile phone but remember that formatting will delete all the data of your mobile phone. So take a backup of your mobile phone before formatting it. But it is Better to Flash the cell phone rather than formatting it. Take your cell phone to the mobile service center. The above given does not work it only work on s60 mobiles for s40 mobiles like 3110c, 2700c, 6300 etc. to format s40 mobile u have to take ur mobile to nokia care they will charge 200 to 250 Ruppes..
open menu > go to settings > restore factory setting > put the
password 12345 if you have not changed it <> this is for restoring
your phone.. for formating put all your files in card memory and format
it by phone or by your computer...... now everything is new i hope this
