I have a Kenmore Elite HE4 Smartheat Quietpak9 and it won't start. I dried one load and went to put another in and something flashed. Could it have been the bulb or is something else wrong? Panel still lights up but when I push start it beeps three times and nothing. What do I need to do? I also can't find my manual to clean the lint ducts. Please Help!!! I put in a load to dry and when I pushed start it beeped at me 3 times. All lights work except for the ones on the far left side.
Alright, pretty unconventional, but simple and Genius on my part!!! Not sure if we're talking about the same models, but I was cruising this site with the same problem.... K, so it's making three beeps right? Check inside the DRYER (maybe same issue w/ washer, I dunno), but there's a button on the top-inside.... DEPRESS THAT BUTTON, and while holding it down, START THE DRYER (HOLD TO START), if it starts working, this tip is for you!
1) on the opposite side, where the door depresses that same button on the dryer door... you ready for this... see step two ;)
2) SUPER GLUE A PENNY IN THAT INDENTATION PART, your problem is there's not enough connection, and the door is no longer holding that same button down...
3) TA DAH!! Since a repair guy could've charged ya like 50+ bucks, I'll take... emmm.. 25$, email me at [email protected] on where to send the check, or just shoot me an email to say thanks ;)
Is your child safty lock light lit up? if so press and hold till it goes away.
