My playstation 3 wont load the disc it just keeps showing the little disc in the top right corner of the screen my ps3 will play movies but will not load games i reset it and did all but chuck the damn thing any advice mine won't read the ps3 games and blue ray discs, but it does read and play ps2 games and dvds. and yes i dwnld all the updates. pls help.
Sounds like the blue ray lens fried, u should be able to find one on ebay or craigs list not hard to put in

i found a way for the ps3 to play the ps3 games and blu ray disks. i go into a game demo, get out and then the ps3 game or blu ray movie appears and works. it's weird, but it's the only way the ps3 game can appear, cuz i tried so many things and waited and all that, but this seems to be one of the ways it'll difinately work. so i suggest you try it, if you have a similiar problem.
