Scott, To transfer your number from your Old Service Provider to TracFone Wireless, you must ask TracFone to Port your existing telephone number. TracFone Wireless will process the request for you. During this process, your service with your current provider will be disconnected automatically and Activated with the new provider you have selected. There is no need for you to call your current provider to disconnect your service. During the Request process, you will still be able to place calls on your existing wireless telephone or wire line phone. You, however, will not be able to receive calls during the porting process.

I had a similar issue when changing suppliers in the UK. I had to get a PAC code from my old supplier to give to my new one so they could transfer my number over to them. I then discovered that my phone had been locked to my old supplier (the manufacturers auto lock some phones to the first network you use on the handset). Check your phone for a "network locked" message. I used an online unlock site which cost £7.90 and my phone was unlocked within 30mins. The old supplier took 9 days to send me an unlock code. You can hook your old phone to your computer with the cord they provided you when you bought your phone,upload the picture to a site ,then hook up your new phone to the computer and upload the picture from the site you transferred your old phone pictures to ,to our new cell phone.

The caller has caller ID block placed on their acct/ this can interfere with sending sms messages to a phone that does not accept sms or voice calls from a line with caller id block/ I had cust resprond to a text with send new to area code plus 10 digit number/ success/ removed caller id block from service and had cust click *star 67 then area code plus 10 digit number/ if you choose to have your contacts entered with *82 area code plus 10 digit cell number you will get error 00107/ can not receive or respont to blocked calls particularly long distance/resolves iss/ I am a technical suport agent for sprint/ Happy Texting

u should hav a proper mobile office service whch is called "mo" if this is proper then install cd software of sony ericsson in tht pc suite should be installed then make a new internet connection nd settings should be selected as manual selection nd also install sony ericsson pc suite now u an transfer!!!!!!!

if you ring up your service provider they will send you the setting by text message if this still dont work then they can talk you through the setting s manually but the text should set the phone up for you worked with mine hope this is some help
