I bought a Element Electronics LCD TV Model26LE30Q UM No: RN0326B0307. I have a son with MD and he can't move, so on his old set there was a hookup for a headset jack. I can't find one or don't know how to make it work. This is the first TV or radio I've had that don't have one. Please help.

I went over the Manual for your TV, Sadly, it doesn't have a port for headset. It only has one audio output port for the stereo system call Digital audio out. The port on the back of the TV has a one for the size of a headset jack. But, it's only for the PC audio in port.
I wish there was some other way to hook up the headset for your son. But, the only option I see is to take the TV back and get one that has the headset port.
Sorry I couldn't help you out more. :(

All electronics after assembly, there is a lite oily glaze that is aplied the prevent any contamination from moisture. Its a bit unplesant, but not harmfull. Also, for an Element, make sure you registure the product so your warrenty will be in affect.Your most likely gonna need it, their a relativly new company.
Not a great brand, generally when out of warranty, you are on your own. No repair except by independant shops if they will even touch it - no manuals or parts that they can get... Considered a disposable set.
I bought two of these tv's and they worked fine,I hooked up a computer to both of them and blam smelt smoke in one and the other wont come on either. The computer takes them out. It is a common problem with this TV.
Try hooking up the powered PC speakers to the Audio line output RCA jacks, if the sound does not cut out, then the problem is in the power amp sections that drive the speakers, it may be over heating and shut itself off, most Class D amplifier are used in the flat screen TV will shutdown if it is over heating or short circuits.
