If you just typed in the IP address only then it won't work, you need to type "http://" in front of the IP address.
Also for configuring wireless routers a LAN cable needs to be attached to the router and computer.
This is removed after configuring the router, and these settings are used to configure the wireless card in the computer/laptop.

DLink and Netgear http://192.168.0.1
