there are 2 ways, covered in your old Dell DX2300 PC
remove the RTC coin cell battery and put it back on this old PC
a new battery is do that first thing.
or the jumper on the MOBO name CMOS-CLR.
per the manual.

Read the PDF in the link below on page #3 listed as JBAT1. Open your case and locate the CMOS reset pins. Move the reset jumper from current position (usually Pins 1+2) to reset position (usually pins 2+3) Power on the computer and hit keyboard key (F10) to get to the Bios and check if Bios was reset.. Consider that password protection will not normally be removed on CMOS reset, you will need to ask HP or look around the internet for a way to reset a password protected Bios.
