Warning sign on the display, what shall I do?

the sun sign is unrelated to the problem. the sun signifies daytime setting pertaining ringing sound asf..

press DIAL immediately and listen whether it is engaged. If yes, fix your phone line.

if no, dial manually. if still unsuccessful come back here.

You need to subscribe to a caller display service with your telephone provider. e.g. if your phone line rental is with BT, contact the phone number on your bill for customer service and request them to activate caller display. There will normally be a small monthly charge payable for this service.

Normally , one base can register 4 hanset in EEPROM setting. The model, Maybe you can try press the "page" key, then plug the power cord , after 5 to 6 second , release "page" key. Try to register handset again.

Try to reset the handset. Software reset from manu or power off and on by dissassemble the battery pack.
