Where can I get an either replacement handle or the entire head for my Sunpak 7500 Platinum Plus tripod?

Hello, Richard -

I am not finding any replacement parts online (in the USA) for the Sunpak 7500 Platinum Plus tripod.

However, in the USA, ToCad America appears to provide repair services for Sunpak products.

See:
https://www.tocad.com/

Scroll down that page to the Contact Us section where you can fill in a form to send an email message. You can ask if the company provides and sells the right kind of replacement handle.

Best wishes.

Why can't I find a replacement part?

Available replacement parts for Sunpack tripods are pretty much limited to new heads, mounting plates, or carry cases; take a look at what B&H Photo has to offer. You don't say what specific tripod you have, but I'd suggest a search at eBay where several are available at auction right now. Furthermore, a check of completed auction/sales shows both new and lightly used ones sold in the past month for between $10 to $50. Buy one for parts or use it as is. You won't find any part plus shipping for less than that.

Sunpack makes consumer not pro level tripods even though the term Pro may appear in some product names. When you buy a tripod that costs $400 and up without the head, you get more options for replacement parts. I have a Sunpack myself for lightest duty when hiking, but my main tripod is a Manfrotto with the grip head. The huge difference in cost makes a corresponding difference in what parts I can find online. When my Sunpack broke (in a different way than yours but equally unusable) I used gaffer's tape to hold it together until I could find a new one (on eBay for $15).

Good luck!

Where to find gitzo tripod 2258 parts foot (I need to feet that have come off unscrewed and are missing)

I just got replacement leg feet from <www.bhphotovideo.com> for my G2258 tripod. Look up part #D1220.25JP. They also list it as Gitzo "GILF" in their inventory. They are the exact replacement part for your tripod. Hope this helps,

Missing Tripod parts

Without knowing the brand of tripod i cannot help. There are some brands of tripods that are made for the retailer and the name is licensed, so the name brand does not support or stock repair parts. Especially if the tripod is an inexpensive one. Because of the model and make of you tripod, I would recommend you throw it out and buy another one. In my opinion Slik and Manfrotto are two very good ones. Slik for the lesser expensive and Manfrotto for the more durable, expensive, parts are almost always available unless is it really old tripod. Find some Manfrotto tripods at: www.BogenTripodParts.com

Missing part on Tripod - Velbon Victory 550

Where can I get parts?

I got from friend a Velbon Victory 550 tripod. The handle that prevent the head from tilting is missing, and so is a piece of plastic that apparently held the rod upon which the head of the tripod is placed from shaking.

thank you
