yes you can max memory 2 gig i just put 1 gig in mine make sure its DDR2 sodim 667 MHz it only has one slot its under the small cover on the back

First, I have never seen a SYNET582 net Book, but I do own a SYNET07526, and I think that they both use the same WiFi chip and they are restored the sme way.
