I have a makita site master with the hv66_30 charger I need new batteries but can't find them anywhere. They don't have a part number on them can you help please?
Is that with the 24v batteries? Where would you be? I'm in Australia, and Makita doesn't sell anything with 24v batteries here. however there seems to be a few going on the UK ebay site. I hope that helps.

I think your tryiong to charge NIMH batteries oon a charger designed for Lithium Ion batteries. With all the new style batteries such as NICAD, NIMH and LI-ION, charging becomes difficult. Most chargers pre NIMH and LI-ion, were designed for NICAD's. The best advise, match your batteries with the correct charger

all lithium ion batteries lose 5-10 percent of capacity per month, regardless of usage. always check manufactures date on batteries when buying because 3 years is a long lived lithium ion. the price you pay for a fast charge with awsome power and little weight.
