To Clear F11 Code after a power cut.

1, Power off at the machine. Do the next 4 steps within 3 seconds.
2, Press Temperature Button in.
3, Power on
4, Release temperature button
5, press Soil Type button

You will now hear the door lock release so you can get to your pants.

Diagnostic code is now displayed. You can switch the washer off and back on and the error code is clear. If you do this it will work.

Thanks for using Fixya.

usually the bridge rectifier on the powerboard causes this problem, its a square component soldered to the board near the fuse that converts A/C to D/C. I've repaired 3 dysons with F11 faults by replacing this component and the fuse.

  • Anonymous Aug 26, 2011

hi, ive got the same fault but not sure its the fuse as the drum turns a few times pumps runs and drains etc, i remember from previous issue the fuse is a pain to get to so is it worth the hassle if all else is turning , running etc ?

Dyson cr01 washing machine filling up with water but is not spinning

It is possible that the machine does not start off the cycle because there are errors or back feedback from the inputs. For the program to start up the main program controller must initiate the INLET valve to open up and allow water to flow into. If this does not happen then the voltage at the inlet valve must be checked or the fault relates to no voltage from the controller. This means the controller is a suspect.

If the water flows then the flow should be good, if not the inlet valve is bad or there is dirt in the filter. Also check the flow at the inlet of the water line. Once the water comes into the system the WATER LEVEL SENSOR - normally a pressure switch- must activate at the preset/chosen level to give the signal to the program controller to switch on the motor. What is most important for the motor to start functioning is that the door switch must be ON when the door is shut or this will be an error for starting the motor for rinse and wash.

Finally after the wash the drain valve will be activated, the water is allowed to come in to rinse and then finally the dry spin with the drain valve/pump activated so as to drain off all the water from the clothes during the spin.

Make sure that a fault in any of the cycle will relate to the specified action, so check the command from the program module and then the executing device be it the valve or motor or pump.

Water won't drain

Do the diagnostic test:
SHU 53 MODELS

To start test program, press and hold both SCRUB WASH and DELICATE/ECONO program buttons, then turn unit on by pressing ON/OFF button. Initially, control module version # will be displayed (e.g./ ?21? = version 1 with jumper). When wash program buttons are released, lights above them will flash. To end test program, press ON/OFF button.
To check each program indicator light, press its button. To check Cycle Countdown display, Refill Rinse Agent light and REGULAR WASH light, press REGULAR WASH button (press Delay Start button to test Cycle Countdown display alone). Cycle Countdown display will show “88′ when REGULAR WASH button is pressed and “8h” when Delay Start button is pressed.
To start testing, press both the SCRUB WASH and DELICATE/ECONO buttons a second time. When testing has ended, Cycle Countdown display will show a fault using codes below. If more than one fault occurs, code numbers will be added together, (e.g./ ?6? = faults 2 + 4).
0 = No faults detected 2 = Heating fault 8 = NTC (temperature sensor) fault
1 = Aqua Sensor (“Sensotronic”) fault 4 = Filling fault F = Filling fault (display occurs during wash, not test)
To check for heater, high limit or flow switch problems, start testing until heating starts. Using a meter with a current coil, measure current going into dishwasher. If current is ~ 11 A, then heater, high limit and flow switch are OK. If current stays at ~ 1.5-2 A, then heater, high limit or flow switch are faulty.
If water level switch (f1) has failed (opened), display will show fault code “4′ and unit will continually fill and drain where testing won’t be completed. If flow switch (e5) has failed (opened), display will show “0′, water won’t heat (to 150?F) and water won?t stop circulating. If NTC probe (f2/f4) has failed (opened), display will show fault code “8′ immediately and testing will end shortly after water has started circulating.
---------
The dishwasher not draining is most probably faulty drain pump or drain hose is got bit loose. It has to be checked and confirmed

Thanks. Keep updated for any more query. You can rate this solution and show your appreciation.

I live in Portugal and my Dyson Cr01(bought in Belgium in 2002) has had problems every year since then. Dyson helped until now,by sending parts that I installed myself, but last week I got fault 11 and 15...

I have decided that was time to end my Dyson induced headaches, and i actually dismounted the machine into single components.
Every component except for the tub and drum assembly is in good working condition, and available for whoever needs them, for a very cheap price. From cables and panels to electrical and mechanical components, every part of my Dyson CR01 ready to ship, whoever is in need anything just get in touch with me to my gmail adress ([email protected]) and we will arrange a good deal.
I want to get rid of all of it before the end of the year, if possible, for space reasons.
