Hi...The transmission system that moves the lens in and out has a problem with it's gears. There is most likely a gear or an actuator that has fallen out of alignment and is getting stuck at a certain point as the lens comes in/out.There is some disturbacnce of the lens arrangement that is preventing the lens from coming in/out.Any of these symptoms above could trigger the camera to shut itself off to protect itself from further damage.

Will the nikon sb16 flash unit work with the Nikon D60

Yes. The trigger voltage of the SB-16 is well within the safety range of the D60 and other digital cameras. I use mine with my D90 without any problems. However, be aware that the SB-16 is a rather old flash, and will not work in the iTTL mode with the D60.

Nikon d60 When I try to take a picture with the

That is a problem that has to do with the Flash...make sure your flash settings are not turned on. If the flash can't find an image...it rotates and usually never finds the image. It's reading in a Flash mode.

Dell latitude d60..the laptop wont display without external monit

Seems that you have a loose LCD screen cable connection. You will need to disassemble the laptop & make sure the LCD screen cable connection is tight.

Hello i have nikon d60 and the flash do not pup out

In what mode(s)? In the point&shoot modes the camera decides whether to pop up the flash. In PSAM modes you decide.

What is night mode on a Nikon d60. How do I turn it on and off?

Night mode?

Do you mean Night Portrait mode? Select it by turning the mode dial to the appropriate icon, deselect it by turning the mode dial to some other mode.

Do you mean flash? It pops up automatically in the point&shoot modes (except for Sports, Landscape, and NoFlash). You have to pop it up in PSAM modes.

Dust stuck under glass on the lcd screen of my d60

If you purchased your D60 new, you could sent it in to Nikon for cleaning but personally, I'd wait a while if it's not affecting the camera's functions. If you need warranty work within the first year, you can send the camera in for that work, and they'll clean under the LCD while servicing the camera.

Imagines are dark even in bright light

the flash settings should have been kept in auto mode.if you want the flash always.normally, there is a button near the lcd screen, with the symbol of a lightning flash. when you press it once it sets the flash mode to auto, second time it sets it to "flash always on mode", third time "flash always off" mode.you can refer this process in instruction manual also.thanks for using fixya! please dont forget to rate my solution.
