Code F7 flashes, after a few minutes, when oven is set at 400 in convection bake mode.

Question edited for clarity and all the typos.

All questions need 'make model (what it is)' as first 3 words.

Generic advice on a generic F7 Oven Error code.

F7 error code can be a result of a faulty wire harness (short-circuit), defective heating elements or oven sensor. A qualified service technician will need to have a look, determine faulty part then replace or repair it.

F7 error code jenn-air wall oven

My 20 year old electric Jenn Air range recently flashed the F7 error code and beeped repeatedly. I shut off the circuit breaker until it cooled. The next day I turned it on and everything seemed fine. We baked a pizza and the
erro repeated when the oven was shut off.
I opened the front panel and noticed the wire ribbon connecting the front panel to the display was slightly askew. How that happened is beyond me. I pulled out the ribbon hold down clips, pushed the ribbon in all the way, and
replaced the hold down clips. The range is now working properly after replacing nothing.
The cheapest fix possible.

F7 flashing on our oven screen

Without the model and brand I can only give you the most common F7 Error code. F7 for the most part on a oven is a stuck key on the key pad and can also be a control board. Some key pads are part of the control and you will just need to replace the control.
