The transfer case shift control module controls the transfer case lock solenoid.
The transfer case lock solenoid is released by being energized. This is accomplished by grounding the lock solenoid control circuit during gears shifts, and in the AUTO 4WD mode. Locking action is applied when power or ground are taken away from the lock solenoid, the transfer case motor is prevented from moving. The system is capable of providing a 2HI, 4HI and 4LO lock-up without the need of additional vehicle power to hold the transfer case in these positions.
This DTC detects an open lock solenoid coil, open motor lock control circuit, or an open batter positive voltage circuit, or a short to voltage or ground on the lock solenoid control circuit.


Circuit/System Testing
The battery positive voltage circuit and the lock solenoid control circuit must be tested for opens, shorts to ground, shorts to voltage, and high resistance. This can also result from a electrically faulted solenoid.
With the ignition on check which DTC is set. If DTC C0321 is set with failure type byte 04 then do the following.
? The transfer case lock is unable to hold during a hold test and the transfer case actuator will need to be replaced, and the motor learn procedure performed. If this is not the case continue to the next step.
Disconnect the transfer case actuator, turn on the ignition and with a DMM check the battery positive voltage circuit for battery voltage at the transfer case actuator.
? If battery voltage is not seen then repair the battery positive voltage circuit for an open or high resistance. If the circuit checks out proceed to the next step.
Disconnect the transfer case control module connector X2 and check the circuit for an open, high resistance, short to ground, or short to voltage. If condition is found repair the circuit or inline connector 109 as necessary, if the condition is not found refer to component testing.

under the decals on ether side are four screws remove these and
separate the sides under these you will find white wedges that hold the case halfs together pull out these wedges and open the case. repair unit and Reverse the prosess to reassemble the unit. If you know how to work on electronics you may need to replace the electrolitic capacitors while the case is open. Kill 2 birds with one stone.

Pull out the crown. Now try to pull out it more, just don't do too hard. If the stem does not come out, there is the way you can open the watch - if it does not, then you have a monoblock case and it can be opened by the special pump only. In case if you can not pull the stem out, take an eyeglass and examine case back all the way around the case. You have to see the tiny groove. This is the place where to insert the openers blade and pry it .

You definitely need special Rolex case back opener. Without it your watch will be locked forever. Rolex cases are so tight, that even when special opener is used, you will need quite strong arms to open it. Rolex case openers sometimes sells on ebay, but they are never cheap.

well i dont think we will be able to open the case of the hard drive commonly because a hard drive is the safe casing of the very expensive metal disc which is used to store the data on to it and it is done by using magnetic energy so normaly a hard drive cannot be dismantled by the user but may be the drive manufacturer can do this only in the extreme needs.

1)Unscrew the crown until it pops out, the same way you would unscrew the crown to change the time on the watch.
2)Place the watch case opener in the notches around the outside of the back of the watch case. You have to use a watch case opener made for Rolex watches to open the watch. Once the case opener is in place, twist it and the back will pop open.
3)Use a mini screwdriver to loosen a tiny screw on the inside of the watch located near the stem. You do not need to unscrew fully--only loosen it.
4)Pull the crown straight out. The crown and stem should come out easily.
To open the back of the watch
1)Purchase a Rolex watch back opener set, if you do not already have one. This set is able to open and close any size of Rolex case.
2)Match the size of your Rolex case with the same size of grooved metal die from the tool set.
3)Put the metal die on the grooves on the back of the watch case.
4)Turn the die to remove the case.
5)Remove the rubber gasket.

The wheel probably is an OFF/ON switch.

Take a closer look for small screws. If you see none, then what you probably have is a "press-fit" case -- like the lid on a bottle of ketchup -- that takes some pressure to force the case to open.

If you just recently bought the case, take it back to the store that sold it to you, and get them to demonstrate how to open the case.

small form factor desktop cases. With these you just push the buttons at the back on each side of the case and it lifts up there's a button on each side of the case towards the back.. press in and pull open the case, it's easier to open one side at a time.

(it's a hinged case design, lifts at the back and hinges at the front.)

There may be lock system rather than a screw. Please see the lock and it will be opened by pressing a lock node(s) or aplying the force in a paticular direction. Do not try to open force fully. Refer manual of scanner if there are instruction to open the case.
