It sounds that the main system control memory IC to this set is faulty. Replace it and check. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. Check the site in 'Mosaic' view. It will make search easy. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/

Dryer makes noise when i put clothes in. rubbing squeeky noise

Hello there
the dryer drum rests on rollers that keep it aglinged and straight
if one of these rollers start to wear out this will make the dryer drum misalign which in turn will make the dryer squeel also if the belt is starting to wear this will make it make noises too so i would suggest first opening up the back ofthe dryer and looking at the rollers and seeing if their is any wear from the belt or the rollers and if they are in need of replace ment replace the worn out part ok
Best regards richard

Technika tv lcd 19-907 tuning in to sky in bedroom.

Hi i had the same problem but i have sorted mine now. What i was doing wrong was i wasnt tuning in the analoge channels only the freeview digital ones. To do this you need to first turn your tv on. Then press the "source" button, this will bring up a little menu at the top left hand side. When this menu comes up press the "Programme +" button (the one that you use for changing channels near the volume button) press this until you get up to "TV", when T.V is highlighted just wait 3 secs and it will switch over. You will probably get a blue screen with a no signal message (you are now on analogue) when you get this blue screen press the "tune" button. It will automatically start tuning in all of your channels, at first they will be fuzzy but as it works they will become clearer. Your sky channel will also be tuned in. When mine tuned in it didnt tune them in on the right numbers though, bbc2 was on number 1 etc. If you ever need to use a playstation or something it goes into the scart connection at the side of the t.v and you need to press "source" and go up to "scart". To get back onto the digital channels just press "dtv/dvd".
hope i helped!

Sound problem on Technika LCD19-907

The retuning process is as follows:

  1. Press the [i+] or MENU button on the remote control to display the DIGITAL INFO menu.
  2. Press the BLUE button to display the MAIN MENU.
  3. Press the UP or DOWN buttons to highlight AUTO TUNING then press the OK button to display the AUTO TUNING MENU.
  4. Press the RED button to start the auto tuning process for all available digital channels.
  5. Wait for the process to complete.

If you wish to CANCEL the auto tuning process whilst it is processing then press the BLUE button at any time.

You may lose some channels when you retune the TV as the channels have been rearranged. To locate them look at the EPG although you may still find that some channels are no longer available on FREEVIEW. See the following link for additional information

http://www.freeview.co.uk/_retuneinfo/

If the above process does not work then check the link above for additional information and also visit the accompanying site links below to find more information for your model of TV / FREEVIEW box.

Menu screen keeps appearing

Hello, My name is Richard; I work for Dell here in Round Rock, Texas. From what you describe, it sounds like the menu button is depressed in such a way that small movement activates its function. I could not suggest any real corrective options as this is most likely a mechanical issue with the button, and would require a technician to open the monitor and inspect that. I am not going to recommend you open the monitor case as it can be dangerous. I would suggest you call our tech support at 1-800-822-8965 ex. 726-8859, and find out if the monitor is still under warranty. Regards, Richard B Dell Online Community Outreach
