Do not know where or how to connect the pads to the wii system

Can't find where the batteries go or the sync button on the dance dance revolution x-treme dancing pad.

If you cant connect in it is probably because you need to sync it. Take off the battery cover for the pad. Now there should be a tiny red button in front of the wii console next to the sd card slots. Press for 2 seconds. now look in the battery compartment for the dance pad. there should be a similar button. press for 2 seconds. now your pad should work as the controller.

put batteries in the pad and turn the pad on, it should automatically connect

make sure the pad has batteries and that it is turned on. the consul will not pick it up if it's not on.

You plug in the DDR Controller in the GameCube controller slots on the Wii system.

The GameCube controller slots should be on top of the Wii. It should be inside a small door you can open if you haven't used it.

There should be a flap ontop of your Wii, open it up. There you will see the female part to the pads adapter.

plug it into the top of the wii system. its the gamecube controller port.

plug it into the gamecube port on top of the wii system.

If it is a wii dance pad the hook ups are on the top. They are round with one flat side. If you have a dance pad that is supposed to go to the wii or xbox you are going to have to conact them and get an adapter. There should be a 1-800 number on the box.

On the top of the Wii there is a hatch. Underneath it there are 4 slots to plug in Gamecube controllers. Try plugging the dance mat into there.
