Security update, KB95995, can't collate print in Excel.

After installing the Security Update for Excel in Office 2003, KB959995, when I print two workbooks with multiple worksheets the pages are not collated. I choose to collate and any printer I print to does not do it. I have to uninstall this update to fix my problem but the update automatically comes through again the next day.

This is on an office network so I can't disable automatic updates. Is there a way to disable Office Updates? Has anyone else had this problem?

I also noticed that the Excel document sends two print jobs for the same document which is where the out-of-order pages come up at the end.

I can not print from Windows 7 Microsoft word 2010, the pages come out blank, can print in excel and other office programs just not documents please help have tried everything

Make sure you are installing CURRENT drivers/software offered by HP for your printer for Windows 7. Get it here:

https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-photosmart-e-all-in-one-printer-series-d110/4023244/model/4023245

Maybe the issue is not printer related. Maybe Word 2010 needs some sort of update. Windows Update will update Windows OS and other Microsoft products (I have a Windows 7 PC running Office 97, Windows Update treats it like Office 2003 and STILL updates it!).

Or, you could manually install them:

https://www.google.com/search?q=word+2010+update&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-b-1

Good luck.

Hi!! How are u? My english not good that much but i will try to explain my problem: when iam open my computerwhich work by windows xp sp3 i got massage the ip operator (3.0208.911.01) is not...

OK, sounds like the problem is that the computer cannot get a valid IP address. In fact it sounds like you might have a IP address conflict on your network. Each IP address on a network segment must be unique.

Check if you are using DHCP.

  • Go to
  • Control Panel
  • Network connections
  • Locate the network connection you are using e.g. 'Local area connection' or perhaps 'Wireless connection'
  • Right click on the relevant network connection
  • Select 'Properties'
  • Select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)
  • Select Properties
Is your machine set to "Obtain an IP address automatically" (DHCP) or "Use the following IP address".
If its "Use the following IP address" then make sure no other machines are also using this IP address. You can try setting to 'automatic' but if you do, make sure that you note all details first, so you can revert back to the settings you currently have if you need to.
if its "Obtain an IP address automatically" then make sure no other machines have been manually set.

With regards to the microsoft update, then your best bet is to only select a small number of updates at a time, until you determine which update(s) is causing the failure. Once you know which update is the problem then you can troubleshoot the specific update.

Hope this helps

Excel Print Queue Delay Problem

It has to do with your collate settings on your printers properties and the collate settings on your first print screen that shows up when you go to print. First when you are ready to print select print from the file menu in excel then go to the properties of the printer you are going to use and make sure the finishing properties are set the way you want them. Hit ok then you will be back at the first print screen. Here uncheck the collate box and then print. I am unsure but this may work. I had a similar problem a while ago and I know if I played with the collate check box it would print much faster other wise each time it was going to print a copy of the document it had to resend all the information again to the printer, which took forever.
