hello,

If you dont get a signal to the monitor check these two situations:
1.check if the graphic card is properly inserted(pul it out and then back again)
2.check if the monitor in plug in if yes try to test the monitor maybe it's broken

Dell 490 Unable to initialize Fan Controller

This issue can be resolved by disconnecting the AC power cable from the system and draining the power from the system by pressing and holding the power button on the front of the chassis. (Approximately 30 seconds). Reconnect the AC Power cord and restart the system, issue should be resolved

My dell precision 390 keeps freezing

Please restart the computer and while it is booting enter into safe mode by pressing f8 repeatedly. It will eventually it will ask you to enter safe mode. Enter safe mode option(not with networking or anything else) log back in. See if the computer freezes at this point. If it does not freeze after being on for an extended period it is more then likely a bad windows install or a virus. If it does the same thing we could be talking hard ware issues.

Have you replaced the power supply at some point? You may have the wrong power supply...Your processor may not be able to handle the Graphic Card that you're trying to use...Graphics cards are very demanding on a computer and you may have pushed your computer beyond its limits with regard to how much graphics it can handle...

This indicates the corruption of OS,, but still remove RAM and rub the eraser on the gold like surface of the RAM and restart the PC.. But still if you got the same error then re install the OS

memory configuration or compatibility
error exists.

solutions

• Ensure that no special memory
module/memory connector placement
requirements exist.
• Verify that the memory modules that
you are installing are compatible with
your computer.
• Reinstall the memory modules and
restart the computer.
• If the problem persists, contact Dell. (if have warranty)

But you can install and check one module at a time.
if not compatible each other may not display.
