some movie need other tools call codec. Did you try install codec to run any type of movie? Movie type like a mkv, mp4, mpeg, avi must install codec code to make it work. Here i share a link to download a codec code. Codecs com Downloads for Lite Codec Pack 10 2 Full Standard and Basic

Well this is down to your internet speed being too slow. You can check the minimum speed requirements in their help center. If you are not sure of your connection speed, Google for broadband speed checker and do it in the evening.
Some films are in HD only and others in SD. If your connection speed is less than 5Mbps and fluctuates, only watch SD films.
It happens sometimes because of slow internet or also check if your modem is not overheating so you can put it in well ventilated area to give you a better performance or also check it by doing a ping test.
