unfortunately, the usb port on walmart tablets is only used in Host mode, meaning it works only to serve itself, rather than the device. You WILL NEED CARD READER of some kind
What Android version do you have? Its important, because version 5 I believe, they made it a read only. You may need to root the device in order to get the xsd card fully functional.you can find this info under settings/about, and scroll to the bottom
touch the "Settings" icon, go down to the "Device" area, touch the "Storage" icon : go to the bottom of the screen, and select "Transfer data to SD card", then select the items you want to move.
You should also move some apps from internal storage to the SD card : "Settings", "Device", and touch "Applications" : then touch each and every application : for most of them, the button "Move to SD card" will be active, just proceed.
Go to Settings>Storage>External SD and look for the *unmount* option. Touch *unmount*. This will electroncally close the SD Card connection so it can be safely removed from the slot. Then remove it from the slot. Then clean the brass contacts with a little piece of toilet paper. Then slide the SD card back into the slot.
The device should automatically *mount* the card. If it doesn't and there is a mount option shown then touch *mount*. If it still doesn't work then chances are your SD card went bad. They do that sometimes.
Just use Google to find your answers. Use "Android" in your questions, not "Dragon Touch", since most Android devices work the same and Dragon Touch hasn't published much info.
(Most of the Cookie Cutter tablets don't come with instructions.)

Amber,
I think your problem may be due to it downloading into the internal memory of the tablet. There may be a way of moving the apps into the external micro sd card rather than deleting them.
" Go into settings, then to storage, then to used space, then to applications. In applications manager go to sd card there will be a list of your applications, touch/click on each one individually and within each one that can be moved, is a box "move to sd card" touch that box and wala it is moved! To move pictures I reset the cameras auto storage to the sd card then moved all my other pictures to the camera file which then stored them on the sd card. I then deleted the pictures from the system memory. Hope this helps! "
