2 GB SD CARD WON'T WORK IN MY Z3.

I GET "UNABLE TO USE CARD", WHEN I INSERT  MY NEW KINGSTON TECHNOLOGY 2GB CARD AND POWER-UP.I CAN'T FORMAT CARD. MENU IS GRAYED-OUT.

I TESTED THE NEW CARD IN A CARD READER. I FORMATTED, WROTE, AND READ IT.

THE CAMERA WORKS FINE WITH MY OLDER  0.5 GB CARD.

IS THERE AN UPPER MEMORY LIMIT ON WHAT THIS CAMERA WILL USE?

I answered my own question by going to Amazon.com.
The Z3 seems to have an upper memory limit of 1 Gb.

Update your camera software with USB cable to version 1.03u available for download on the website. Follow the instructions carefully or your camera cpu could be damaged.

There is also a firmware update for the camera on the Konica-Minolta website. I have not been able to get the update to work following the directions provided. This update is supposed to fix the 2GB limit. Maybe you will have better luck getting it to work.

Nikon Coolpix 5900/4 GB Kingston SD Card

The 5900 uses SD cards. The 4GB card you have is actually an SDHC card and will not work in the 5900. You'll have to stay with cards 2GB and smaller.

Can't format a memory card for my minolta damage

Some brands cannot be used by some cameras. You should stick with the big brand names like Sandisk.

Micro SD 2 GB just stopped working

The PIC or EEPROM inside these cards may not be working. I guess you best bet is to buy a new one try Kingston brand or go with another Sandisk.
