You obviously have a finisher fitted to your machine and this code is the detection of the tray lift motor not working. You can reset it in service mode but check that the finisher has not been leant on (as this warps the top and the claws get caught) it may also be the sensor for the tray which is mounted on the rear side of the finisher and is a very fine line between sensing the tray and not and this may need moving slightly.

SOLUCIONAR PROBLEMA DEL ERROR C1183

Did someone leave a trash can or boxes under the output trays? To solve this problem requires removal of the rear cover of the finisher. Then remove the elevation drive motor assemble. Be careful don't want the output trays to fall!!!!!! Then while placing them in their proper position re seat the drive assy. The top tray should be just below the orange rollers (If they are cleaned) you will see several actuators the top tray has to just touch them.

BIZHUB 350 C1183 MALFUNCTION

Hi richard_hutc,

It would appear that you have an issue with the finisher/sorter on the side of the machine.
Specifically, C-1183 means the elevator motor hasn't ascended or descended correctly.
Open and close the finisher and look for any paper jams in this area.

Good luck

First check the alignment front and rear of the finisher, check the finisher exit guide rollers if the paper is exiting properly, open both rear and the front cover and check the lower gears attach is the up/down drive belt. that lower gear one might be broken by the pin slot.

Bizhub 200 fault code c1183

Its an elevator ascent/descent motor failure. You didnt by any chance have any thing such as a big box of paper or a trash can sitting under the exit trays did you? Check it to make sure the trays are level also.
