One speaker making a popping sound

System 1.5 years old...worked excellent and now one front speaker makes a popping sound

Try switching the popping speaker to the other side and see if it still pops if it does then you have probably damaged the driver in the speaker if it doesnt pop then the problem probably is in the receiver

hook your front speaker wires up to the A side and on the front of it make sure only the A speakers are playing but leave the rear speakers plugged into the B side then hit the listen mode button and you should be rocking

Bose Acoustic Wave music system popping speaker

Had the same problem on the same machine 15 or so years ago...took it to the Bose factory shop in Framingham (or real close )Massachusetts, and they fixed it in 20 minutes...cost around $50...at the time they said it was a real common problem, and an easy fix.

Hi when you turn on check all your speakers work check connections make sure the wire has no stray strands touching the fault could be in the sub unit this is possible / or your speakers one or more could have gone short circuit due to exessive volume thats if you play loud. Had a party lately .Just joking .Regards kirk

Popping sound from sub woofer

disconnect the woofer and connect a different speaker see if other speaker makes the same pop if it don't then the woofer cone is defected if you have high watts and using stereo on high volume you can damage speakers.

Speakers Popping loudly occasionally. Died for several days. Now working again but still making sounds.

The problem is a burned transistor inside the subwoofer. It depends of country's transistor manufacturer. It is supposed to be of a low quality. It's not important for the scope. Mine is knocked down for a year. I saved the electronic schematic diagram and the transistor specs, but lost. I confirmed the cause opening the subwoofer and examine the board. The indicated transistor surrounded area is burned indeed. If anyone find the article in web, please, post here.

Intermittent, random, loud popping noises.

you should check the outline ctrl..for a mic...it could produce a noise...if you have your speakers connected to pc...check the position of the plugs and the volumen of mic put in down...
