How long ago did you replace the lamp?
If the lamp has not actually been replaced and you are attempting to bypass this safety feature then I have bad news for you. Once the projector determines current flow through the lamp has exceeded the threshold amount, it will put the projector into the mode it is in now - Critical Lamp Replacement. You can set the projector bulb to low power output and see if that allows you to reset the bulb life timer but, again, if you have not actually replaced the bulb assembly, you are in danger of the bulb bursting under pressure. This can actually damage the projector.
Hello muhammad Projector's lamp life is said to be, not with the lens life. Lens is made up of glass. But lamp will go weak. the life of lame will depend on how much time the projectior have used. Normal life of Panasonic projector bulb spans between [1800 to 2000] continous use. It means, if we take the low life span of the bulb as 1800 Hours [1800/24=75 Continous days]. If we use it for 4 hours a day, the bulb may last for [1800/4=450 days ie 1 Year and 85 days] OK.
How to reset timer on PT-L702E LCD PROJECTOR:1. Power on the projector and go into the menu 2. Go to OPTIONS > LAMP TIMER 3. Press and Hold ENTER for at least 2sec - message will change to something like 'Power Off to reset timer' 4. Press POWER to power off projector 5. Power projector back on
Most likely problem is bulb failure. Replacing the bulb is first step in any LCD rear Projection troubleshooting.
PT-61LCZ70 has a special "Super Dooper" long life lamp that costs a ton to replace. US users have 5 year warranty on the lamp assembly. Canada users can whistle for help from Panasonic Canada. There is no replacement bulb available, only expensive lamp assembly.
TV has to be completely taken apart to change the lamp. Panasonic service information is 12+ pages for lamp change instruction.
Replace power board: ETXMM519MBGB Or replace transistor Q107 on this board with a typical pnp for switching power supllies, there's not a part number for it on the manual.
you won't get another warning for 2000 more hours on a lamp that is good for only 2000 hours (give or take). so, if you don't replace it, you run the risk of the lamp exploding at the end of it's life, sending shards of glass and mercury dust throughout the projector.
may i know now what is the age of your projector. have you done replacing the lamp of the unit before.
Lamp life varies by manufacturer and projector type.
Lamp life also depends on the projector's environment: air flow, clean
air, and also on the level of usage. Check the user's manual or
specification pages for your projector to determine the exact lamp
life.
lamp hours can only be displayed by connecting two test points in side the projector. in normal operation, a message will be displayed on the screen when the lamp hours = 1090. when the lamp reaches 1100 hours, the projector will shut itself off. when you do replace the lamp, be sure to reset the lamp time in the setup menu (this is covered in your manual).
