Look on your manufactures manual. Look for reset. Flat batteries probably made it go back to original factory settings. Reset, put in original factory code, then change code to your personal again.

i told you already,take it to your pharmacy and get free help,or there is a spot on the side,pull on it,it will open,replace the batteries and put it back

I do not have the manual but normally a portion of the back slides open and the batteries are contained in that opening and connected with a red and black wire. Since you are going to buy batteries take it to where you bought it and they will show you and happely sell you batteries. RadioShack comes up for this phone.

With the back of the radio facing you, use the belt clip or a coin to wedge the battery door open.

This is the setting for the auto power on/off. You can set the radio to turn off afer a pre-determined amount of time. Here is a link to the user guide for the FV300:
