SOURCE: Alpine CDE-102 w/usb port: will not

Hello desoren,

The receiver may not be set to recognize MP3 files.

Press and hold "sound setup" until the unit enters setup mode. Rotate the volume knob to "play mode" and press "enter". Check that the setting is CD/MP3 (not CD/MA), or rotate the volume knob to change the setting to CD/MP3 and press enter again. Press and hold "sound setup" again until the unit exits sound setup.

If the files are still not recognized, I'd try using a different USB drive, a different computer to write the MP3's, and/or a different application to download or rip the original music content.

Hope this helps.

SOURCE: i am getting a DC error on my alpine cde-102 head

Hello christo12385,

The DC error is most likely caused by a shorted or grounded speaker wire. Check all speaker wires, correct the problem, and then go into the sound setup settings and reset the POWER IC to ON.

Hope this helps.

Why I have no sound on Alpine CDE-111R. After six years appeared an option which it never appeared before, "BT AUDIO".After that is no sound anymore

Seems that you activated Bluetooth audio for playing music from a Bluetooth device. If you google alpine cde111 manual you will get a link to the owners manual which gives step by step instructions on how to disable Bluetooth audio

How do i get code for bluetooth

First make sure that Bluetooth is on on the CDE-143BT. Press and hold Audio/Setup (below and to the right side of the rotary encoder dial until you enter the Setup mode. Use the rotary dial to get to Bluetooth. Press the Search/Enter button (the center of the rotary dial). Then use the rotary encoder to go through the Bluetooth Settings menu. Press Search/Enter to toggle the current value. After Bluetooth is on, go to Visi M setting and make sure that it is on. Now, you need to go to the Bluetooth settings area of your cell phone when it is within range of the receiver. Tell it to pair with the receiver. Then when it asks for the code enter "0000". This code is hard encoded into the unit. See page 23 of the manual for the CDE-143BT for the code. The manual is available here: http://vault.alpine-usa.com/products/documents/OM_UTE-42BT_CDE-SXM145BT_CDE-143BT_EN.pdf . Surrounding pages show setting the other Bluetooth settings.

Note: the receiver will be acting like a Bluetooth headset. That's why you need to enter the receiver's PIN on the phone.

I hope this helps.

My Alpine CDE-W235BT bluetooth has stopped working after a failed update. How do I fix it?

Sounds to me like the firmware is damaged, try flashing it with another firmware, or maybe updating it with the same update but successfully if possible.

Alpine cde-126bt bluetooth connection issues, only connects with 1 phone, second device fails at connecting when using pin.(0000). software ver is 3.80

Hi, same problem (v3.80), but finally conected. I would say that is related with bluetooth name length of the phone.
Try setting the phon's name to something smaller.
Jordi.
Conected with an android device, Motorola MB200 (DEXT)
