Wet Clothes When in final spin, washer does not appear to be in "high speed" spin. Motor does function in all three speeds, lid switch functions, washer does agitate and spin normally otherwise. This may have been occurring for a while on the second rinse setting, but now is happening for both rinse cycles. What might the problem be? Thank you!

SOURCE: Kenmore 110 washer drum spins with lid open during Rinse/Spin

Slow agitator could be linked to shaft bearings going south. Pull the agitator off and check the block on top of the shaft. With everything turned off, try to turn the shaft. It should turn freely both ways. Other things to slow down the works could be a very worn drive belt from the motor.
The lid switch problem seems to be a wiring short--trace the wiring back from the switch to where ever it ends up (at the timer?). If it winds up at a relay, the contacts may be stuck together. It would be nice to have a wiring diagram--ah well. Don't know if any of this helps, good luck.

SOURCE: Kenmore Series 80 washer NO High Speed Spin

It could be a timer, motor or wiring problem. You would need to check for 110 volts at the timer or motor when in the higher spin mode. If you are getting 110v you have a bad motor. No or low volts you have a bad timer. The motor is either a 2 or 3 speed motor and you would have to determine which winding to check for the 110v. The schematic is usually glued to the inside rear cabinet. Please rate this post.

Improperly installed thrust bearing kit. Too many washers cause the basket to spin during agitation.

My Whirlpool Ultimate care II does not do high spin!

Could be a few things
motor coupler there is avideo at www.appliancehelponline.com/servicemanual.html that walks you thru the proper inspection and replacement.
Transmission/clutch This is possible but if your not hearing any noises I would check the motor, this more likely the problem. You hae a two speed motor and one set of windings has probally failed. Thats why it agitates fine but does nothing in spin. You will need to perform an ohmeter reading on the windings ( terminals ). You should have a near o reading on both the high and low speeds. Any higher than 1 replace the motor. You will need to refer to the wiring diagram for wire color and location. Also make sure you have power to the motor on the spin setting, this eleminates the possibility of a timer/control problem. You can also enter your model # for diagrams and illustrations there. They also hae videos on disassembling this type of washer.

Kenmore 22622 will not shift into high speed during spin cycle leaving clothes very wet every now and then it will go to high speed. i tried turning the dial around a couple of times and it went into high...

Possible overloading or a situation many people do not consider is underloading ,if your machine has an out of balance sensor this will operate in either event and hold the spin to protect your machine .

Clothes come out wet

HI, this is a common issue that is easily fixed by, replacing the control unit. this control manages the motor functions during operations. if this unit is not spinning correctly, replace the Control unit. aka(motor control unit). In you washer, they call the motor control board a (Control Unit). replace this asap if possible. this will fix your washer. ADDITIONAL CHECKS--(Make sure that this unit is also draining water properly as well. this will cuase wet spin outs as well).

Wet clothes after final spin cycle

There are two speed (or three) on most washer motors and what happens is that a motor speed will stop functioning--it will wash the clothes, but the high speed will not function. This also could be the controller, but more likely it is centered at the motor. It the motor is functioning, it coulfd be in the transmission of the machine--which may be the problenm since you heard a loud noise. I am not familiar with your machine, there could be an electronic switch for the transmission to go into high speed as well that has gone bad. I wish I had more direct knowledge of your machine.

Still wet clothes

It sounds like the high speed of your motor is not functioning which tells me it is either burnt and needs to be replaced, or that the control dial is malfunctioning. Because those motors have two or three speeds, usually one of the speeds of the motor is malfunctioning. Always check connections too, and see if it functions in the spin on another cycle. Best of luck. C
