lot of work in replacing the instrument cluster panel lamps. you need special tool to remove the radio because some of the panel screws are in there. you will need to disconnect gear indicator and electrical harnesses from instrument cluster. you will also need to remove several panels as well. I have lots of experience doing this and it took me two hours. consider finding someone that does automotive work at their house. word of mouth is the best networking way.

Unplug the radio and see if it still blows the fuse. Try to isolate it to the lighting circuit or the radio. You have a bad short somewhere. Trying higher rated fuses may cause your wiring to burn up.

My front panel won't light up, how can I remove to keypad to replace bulb?

The "lights" below the buttons in the panel are LED's and are not replaceable, also they have a extremely long lifespan making it near impossible to wear out.
If the panel isn't lighting up, your printer has another problem, not burned "lights".

No front panel lighting

The "nightwatch" lighting uses an EL or electroluminescent material that does degrade with age. If the radio is old, then it may be lighting very dimly (check in a dark room with the dimmer at full bright). The material is connected by a ribbon to a special high voltage pulsed powersupply that runs at about 500 volt. If the power supply is working then a new face would be in order or a new radio. If the powersupply is not working it may be repairable but requires working with surface mount components. Either way, it is NOT a simple lightbulb fix. I have successfully repaired and do stock the smc components to repair but cannot get the faces through cobra ($$$). More info? Contact through
