Press and hold the Power button till it turns off. If this problem repeats, start in Safe Mode and run a Anti-virus.

Compaq presario 2594 us laptop , after boot-up get message ( operating system not found) tried recovery disc, will not formate hdd , will get this message in windows set-up , SET-UP...

I've gist had the same problem after flashing bios ...
go to BIOS and change the SATA mode to IDE. it worked for me.
original instructions:
also You have to turn OFF (disable) the boot from network. The error your seeing is result of the network boot rom not finding PXE server to boot from. Again, be sure to disable boot from network.
PLUS it seems if only 128 MB is showing as memory then the memory sticks might be damaged and not able to retain information/data to complete the installation process. Best take them out clean it properly & replace & try again. Nothing to do with BIOS!

I have 3 wires on my pc and i dont know where to connect them on my motherbaord - the wires have writen on them "HDD LED" "PWR LED" "PWR S/W" can any1 help me?

Hi Dan,
The wires are from the front panel. HDD LED which causes an led (usually red) light to turn on when the Hard Drive is active. The PWR LED turns on an LED light (usually green) when you turn on your computer. The PWR S/W turns on your computer when you press the on button of your computer. The front panel connector riser is usually located on the bottom right of your computer. They fit on little pins. Unfortunately there is no standard, so connections vary. Sometimes the pins are labeled on the motherboard. . Check your manual. For more info do a google search for "Motherboard front panel connectors". Hank

I have troubles with a printer eSutudio4511. Code

f100 is a hard drive formatting error
[F100] HDD format error
(1) Check if the HDD is mounted.
(2) Check if the specified HDD is mounted.
(3) Check if the connector pins of the HDD are bent.
(4) Check if the connectors CN116, CN132 on the SYS board is disconnected.
(5) Replace the harness.
(6) Format the HDD. (Key in "2" at 08-690.)
(7) Replace the HDD.
(8) Replace the SYS board.
step 6 is turning the copier on while holding 0 and 8 til it beeps type 690 and hit start, this will format your hard drive, more than likely it is bad physically but you may get lucky
