IC308B Blank Screen, won't play, doesn't respond to buttons.

I have an IC308B Ipod docking station and projector clock. It worked fine until today when I got home and put my ipod on it. I selected a song and pressed play. The song did not play (on the speakers, it was "playing" in the ipod's opinion), and the station would not respond to me pressing any buttons. It would only show the time. So I unplugged it for a while, come back later and plug it in again. Now its screen was blank, it would not respond to buttons still and all it would really do is charge the ipod. It would recognize when the ipod was there because when I put the Ipod in, the screen on the docking station got brighter (a sign of it coming out of Standby mode).

Anyone have any help for me? I have tried hitting the reset button but that did not do anything.

It doesn't have a battery, lest its in built into the inside of it. there is a place for a 9 volt (i think 9 volt? or 6 volt, not sure which is which) but there is no 9 volt in there right now.

Operating manual for Plain Lazy Alarm Clock iPhone/iPod Speaker Dock

No instruction manuals for the 'Plain Lazy' ipod docking station/alarm clock found on line :-( So after tinkering with the buttons for quite a while, II have worked out how to set the clock. Press & hold the play/pause button & at the same time press the skip back button once....let go of both buttons. Then immediately press the play/pause button again once & the clock numbers will start flashing. Press the skip back button to adjust the hours & skip forward button to adjust the minutes. Press the play/pause button to set!

Bose Sound Dock remote control - only volume works

My remote worked perfectly until I changed the battery. The original battery was CL 2032 and I replaced it with DL 2032. After replacing the battery, only the volume control works. The off button will only fade the sound while the button is depressed. Release the button, and the volume returns to the original level and the unit remains On.
None of the other buttons work.

When I set my ipod on the digital media port the screen lights up white and says Digital Media Port okay to disconnect. It worked fine until now.

Had the same problem today. I turned the receiver off, plugged in the ipod, turned the receiver back on. The white screen came back on again. With the ipod plugged into the dock, I reset the Ipod (menu and center button till Apple logo appears). Ipod reset and problem solved. I'm listening to the music now!

Docking station problems

I have the same problem. The screen is frozen ? I put my ipod on and press play and it freezes. I found the solution though. Let it go dead and then hold the play button. Its a long process but it plays just fine on my docking station after that. If it happens again then you may have to repeat the same process.
