Hello, my telephone set (panasonic KX-T7730), with serial number 6CBKA015372, recently developed a fault, which I don't even know what to do about it yet. The phone has been in good condition till recently. I got to the office and discover that phone was no longer working. When I plug the cord, there's no display, no tone. Could you please assist me with some information on how to solve my phone problem. Thanks, Ebere.
KX-T7730 Phone must be connected with a 4wire line cord. you may be tested it with a 2 wire line connector.because other normal phones only needed 2wire line cords.Just connect a new 4w cord to under socket located to main unit & other end connect directly to the tel;system & see is the phone confirmed OK.
& let me know .Good luck.

Locate the program and auto-store button on your telephone. You will be using these to customize many of the features on your KX-T7730. The program button is used to enter or exit programming.
Program your outgoing line preference, i.e., the line you prefer to seize when you go off hook. Press "Program" "1" "1" "store" for no line. Press "Program" "1" "2" "Store" for an idle outside line. Press "Program" "1" "3" "Outside Line Number" "Store" for an assigned outside line. The outside line number will be a single or double-digit number that is set through your phone system.
Program your incoming line preference, i.e., the line you prefer to answer when you go off hook. Press "Program" "2" "1 "Store" for no line. Press "Program "2" "2" "Store" for ringing line. Press "Program" "3" "Outside Line Number" "Store" for an assigned outside line.
Program your flexible CO buttons. These are the inner row of 12 lighted buttons. Your outside lines need to be programmed to these--you can choose any of these 12 buttons in any order. Press "Program" "CO Button" "0" "Outside Line Number" "Store." The outside line number will be a single or double-digit number that is set through your phone system.
Program any other unused flexible CO buttons for an extension number or any frequently dialed phone number. Press "Program" "CO button" "1" "Extension Number" "Store" or "Program" "CO Button" "2" "9 + Phone Number" "Store". A "9" must be entered at the beginning of a phone number to tell your phone system to seize an outside line before dialing, e.g., "9-1-212-555-1234."
Locate the programmable feature buttons (the row of 12 solid buttons on the right). These buttons are basically one-touch buttons that can be set for extension numbers or phone numbers. Press "Program" "(PF) Button" "Extension Number" "Store" or "Program" "(PF) Button" "9 + Phone Number" "Store." Remember to press "Program" again to exit programming.
Locate your "FWD/DND" button. This button is used for setting "Call Forward" or "Do Not Disturb" on your telephone. To set call forwarding, go "off-hook" either by lifting the receiver or pressing speakerphone. Make sure you go to intercom and not an outside line. To forward all calls, go off-hook, press "FWD/DND" "1" "extension number" (the extension number that you wish to forward all your calls to) "#". After you hear a confirmation tone, place the receiver on-hook. The steps to set call forwarding for busy/no answer are the same as above, except you will press "2" in place of "1". To cancel call forwarding, press "0" in place of "1".
Program "Do Not Disturb," which stops your phone from ringing--any callers will just hear a DND tone. To program, go off-hook, press "Program" "4" "#" on-hook, to set. Press "0" instead of "4" to cancel.
Locate the message button--this works in coordination with your message light at the top right of your telephone. If the light is lit, press "message" to hear a message left to you either by another extension or a voice mail system. The message button can only be programmed as a message or one-touch button. To program as a message, press "Program" "Message" "3" "Store." To program as a one-touch, press "Program" "Message" "1" "Extension Number" or "Program" "Message: "2" "9 + phone number."
Return your KX-T7730 to its default settings by pressing "Program" "#" "*" "Store."

Dear Cnavarro,
I never made any swap with any one. Before I left office on a weekend, the phone was ok. I discovered this problem on my resumption the next day.
My dear,
I have done all that. I have replaced the cord and the jack, which were confirmed to be ok in another phone.
I'll go for a new phone then. Thanks for your effort.
So that leaves a bad phone. Try Panasonic repair.
??? No, I'm saying SWAP the phone now with a known good one. You need to determine if the PHONE is bad, or the JACK is bad.
You could have a bad handset, base cord, or phone, or the CLEANING person could have unplugged it.
Did you swap the base with a known good one? Cords and all?
