Your power windows run on a heat operated circut breaker. When temps get warmer, an old breaker can act up. Try replacing the breaker and see if it cures your problem.

The Cool mode wont cool. It's just like fan mode. I cleaned all the dust off the panels and still wont blow cool air.

First the weather is extremely hot mid 90's and humid.I have a Trane combination a/c heat pump system. The A/C was pumping out warm air.I called for a technician and the problem was the compressor was not working. The solution/fix was to replace compressor start capacitor. The technician was here for about an hour. The compressor was running before he left however I informed him the air coming out of the a/c ducts after one hour of run time did not feel as cool as usual. It took from 1pm until 10 pm at night to cool the house air down to 80 degrees and the system ran constantly.I left it on 80 as that is where I usually leave it. Today again it is running all day barely able to keep the house at 80.My home was built in 07 block house, well insulated with thermal double pane insulated windows.I suggested to the tech to check the refrigerant level but he did not think it necessary and did not perform the check while here. The unit will cool the house down to 80 degrees but runs constantly. My question is: Should I have a technician come check out the system to insure proper refrigerant levels and pressure????????

Truck window doesn't work

You can probably make it work if you wanna put in the time to do it right. You'll have to build a switch for the window someplace unless it's built into the new door and run a hot wire to it with a fuse inline to protect the system from shorting out. If the switch is still in the door then it is just a matter of connecting power to it.

Windows defective

The window track is out of adjustment and the track lining is probably warn. You need to remove the door panel to gain access to the window track. Once in the door you will see the tracks and the adjusting nuts. Loosen the nuts and snug up the track, not too tight and not bent.Try the window a few times before reassembly. Great truck I hope he enjoys it, good luck.

Outside window weatherstrip

I take it that you are talking about the door window weather strip. If so there should be a small phillips head screw at each end, and clips along in between. If you are replacing it you should be able to tell by the new one. You will probably have to take off the door panel and if there is a stop to keep the window from normally going to low, would have to be removed and let the window go down enough to get the weather strip replaced and then roll up and reinstall stop. Hope this helps.
