Go to the below site for a manual. There isn't any reference to a glass window in the manual but the tool does need to be regreased as indicated in the manual, especially if it's used frequently. If you do it yourself, pay close attention to how much grease you put in the tool. Too much grease causes excessive drag and makes the motor work harder.
Straight gas. Look around, and you will see where to fill the engine with regular sae 30 oil, and on lawnmowers, if you have a place to fill it with oil, you don't mix oil with the gas.
grease, I would recommend going to Makitatools.com and typing in your model number so you can download an operators manual and it also discusses the lubrication for the tool. Let me know and if I have helped you with your request would you please rate this response accordingly and thank you.
Hi, Don't stress, its working fine. The grinder has a sort of self test when you put the battery in, it blinks. What you don't want is the light to come on when you are using it. That means that you are bogging it down and if on for 30 seconds ( if I remember right) it will shut the grinder off until you reset it by turning it off and then on again. So no worries!
