Sound card not reconized on win 2000

If all youve done is install a PCI soundcard try the card in another PCI slot it sounds like its just conflicted with something. If no slots available switch it with something else........good luck hope it works

hi, your sound card in no available driver for windows 7 you just only used that later when the drivers are available..

check if your sound card is working , if is reconized with win 7.the oem brands is normaly fail win7 test. you need the update driver to your sound card.

Sorry,your sound card driver for windows 7 is not release by tosiba company.Even if they have release driver for Windows Vista too.It might have work.

So you won't be able to play audio sound on your laptop using windows 7.Either you need to downgrade to Windows XP or windows 2000 or you may get a new USB external sound card which support windows 7.

Unfortunately ASUS has not written drivers specifically for Vista.

It could be that the sound chipset is INCOMPATABLE with Vista.

But before you give up try Win XP's and Win 2000's driver (They do share SOME architecture with Vista and just might work.

If that fails you can type in your soundcards name (Soundmax) and "Drivers" into your preferred search engine and see if someone has written a third party driver for it.

If this fails, I'm sorry to say it looks like your options are limited.
1.) Get anew sound card. There are some very affordable ones on the market

or

2.) Give up on Vista and put your previous Windows back on
